UCI Faculty Profile
This laboratory is currently interested in the systematic study of the cellular and molecular components of the immune response to insulin. The objective of these studies is to elucidate what role insulin antibodies in particular and the other components of the immune system in general have on the clinical management of diabetic patients and on the etiology and pathogenesis of diabetes, obesity and aging.
