Medical Student Art Exhibits

The Office of Student Affairs, under the leadership of Dr. Marianne Ross, organizes an exhibit of medical student art approximately 6 times a year. Exhibits may be either one-person shows or have multiple artist entries. The exhibit is mounted on the walls of the Office of Medical Education, where it is easily accessible to medical students, faculty, and staff. The exhibit has a formal "opening" on its first day, accompanied by snacks and soft drinks, when the artist(s) make a brief presentation about their art, and sometimes explicating links between their work and the practice of medicine.

In the words of Dr. Ross, "These exhibits are part of our effort to support balance, well-roundedness and wellness in the lives of our medical students."
