The University of California, Irvine (UCI) Geriatric Medicine Fellowship is a comprehensive one-year training program that provides eligibility for a Certificate of Added Qualifications (CAQ) in Geriatrics and has been accredited since 1991. Fellows receive experiences in skilled nursing care, home hospice, inpatient geriatric consultation, primary outpatient geriatrics, comprehensive geriatric assessment, as well as geriatric rehabilitation, neurology, urogynecology and electives.
