Clínica Cariño

Mission Statement:

The purpose of Clínica Cariño is to increase health care access to the underserved community in Santa Ana by providing basic screening and diagnostic services, health education, and referrals to local community resources.  Secondarily, Clínica Cariño provides UC Irvine medical students and undergraduates with first-hand experience working with the underserved and with a richly diverse community within Santa Ana, under the guidance of medical professionals.

2007-2008 Clínica Cariño Clinic Dates:

• September 22 - Ophthalmology Clinic in coordination with Sight Savers
• October 6 - Diabetes Clinic
• November 10 - Complementary and Alternative Medicine Clinic
• December 8 - Pediatric Clinic in coordination with LMSA
