Welcome to the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) at University of California, Irvine.  The Department of PM&R is dedicated to the advancement of knowledge and practice of PM&R for the benefit of the physically disabled and society. This goal is achieved by providing quality physiatric care for patients of all ages at the hospitals affiliated with the Department; training residents and medical students; and conducting research to improve the understanding and treatment of disabilities resulting from neuromuscular, musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, pulmonary dysfunction, and age.  Please take this opportunity to browse our website to learn more about our program.
