Research is an important aspect of the Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Division at UCI. Both Dr. Sender and Dr. Calderwood are actively
involved in several areas of research.
Current projects include:

Director of Pediatric Clinical Oncology Services, Division Chief
Dr. Sender, in collaboration with his colleagues, Dr. Hoda and Dr. Culver, is pursuing research to unlock the etiologies of leukemia
in children.
