The Pediatrics Department provides a wealth of educational opportunities for both current medical students
at the UCI School of Medicine and extramural students. Pediatrics is an essential part of the medical curriculum at UCI and
all students complete a six-week pediatric clerkship in during their 3rd or 4th year. The department also offers electives
in each of our pediatric subspecialties as well in Pediatric Research and Pediatric Ambulatory Care.
