Division Chief
The practice of clinical pediatric endocrinology focuses on the diagnosis and management of medical problems
related to hormone imbalance in infancy, childhood, and adolescence. The three members of the UCI Division of Pediatric
Endocrinology are committed to the traditional academic model for provision of top quality patient care, education, and
research in this area of pediatric medicine. Endocrine disorder addressed include concerns about growth, thryoid
hormone imblanace, abnormal puberty, obesity, intersex, metabolic bone disease, hypoglycemia, adrenal gland
dysfunction, and diabetes. Dr. Culler has particular interest in growth disorders and Dr. Haghi in diabetes and obesity.
