The Pediatric Surgical Subspecialists at UCI Medical Center provide comprehensive care for both infants and children.
Because the disease process that affects children is different and more complex than that of adults, caring for
pediatric surgical diseases requires special training. Pediatric surgeons provide a full spectrum of surgical
procedures, from laparoscopy to the most complex anomalies, as well as the latest techniques. The division also
offers bowel management programs for children suffering from constipation and perforated anus.
