Manuel Porto, M.D.

Welcome to the Web site of UCI's Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. UCI OB/GYN is one of the finest academic departments in our specialty in the country. Many of our faculty have major leadership roles in some of the most important national organizations in our field, including the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Association of Professors of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Society of Maternal Fetal Medicine, Society of Gynecologic Oncologists as well as editors of the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Perennially, our faculty are well represented in the publication, The Best Doctors in America, and these world renowned specialists cover the gamut of our specialty from gynecologic oncology, high risk pregnancy management, fetal diagnosis and therapy, urogynecology, infertility, as well as general gynecologic and obstetrical women's health care.

For patients, we offer a one stop, full service, women's health center at the University of California, Irvine, Medical Center in Orange, California, as well as many outpatient women's clinical services at our Irvine, Santa Ana, Anaheim and Westminster locations. For referring physicians, we offer a full scope of specialty and subspecialty faculty clinicians for consultation in both the ambulatory and hospital settings. We offer a wide array of continuing medical education programs addressing obstetric and gynecologic topics both locally and nationally. Our residency and fellowship programs are among the most coveted in the nation and the UCI Medical Center has, for several years, been recognized as one of the 50 best hospitals for Woman's Health Care in the entire country by U.S. News and World Report.
