As Director of Medical Education, Dr. Keegan's educational activities encompass extensive teaching of fellows, residents and medical students. He is Program Director of the highly acclaimed residency training program in obstetrics and gynecology at UCI. He has also recently been appointed as Associate Dean for Graduate Medical Education. In this position, he is responsible for all post graduate resident training programs within the University of California, Irvine.


Research Interests

Dr. Keegan's research activities in perinatal medicine primarily are concerned with clinical parameters in labor, including anesthesia and intrapartum risk factors. Other research interests include antepartum fetal evaluation, prenatal diagnosis and fetal therapy.
