Acting Division Director

The Division works closely with the Division of Medical Education to coordinate the education of residents in primary care for women. In addition, the Division focuses its clinical activity on obstetrics, routine well-woman gynecologic services, specialized gynecologic services, reproductive infectious disease consultation, family planning, menopause, and reproductive education. Clinical services are offered at the UCI Medical Plaza in Irvine, the UCI Women's Healthcare Center in Orange, and the Family Health Centers in Anaheim, Santa Ana and Westminster.

Research interests include adolescent gynecology, substance abuse in pregnancy, primary care for women, cervical cancer prevention program, management of pelvic pain, postmenopausal hormone replacement therapy, treatment of perimenopause, complementary and alternative medicine, and public health and health policy.
