| Phoneme perception consists of vowel and
consonant tests, which you may select from the manu below. As opposed to
open-set speech materials, which typically are at sentence level, these two
tests are considered closed-set. The chance performance is 1/N, where N is the
number of tokens in each test.
To facilitate the test, feedback is used. Let's first
play the calibration stimulus to set the overall volume of your speaker
or headphone at the maximally comfortable level. The test may last 5 to
