Prospective Students

Predoctoral Students

Students are members of one of the UCI training programs. Currently these consist of the Molecular Biology, Genetics and Biochemistry (MBGB) program, that offers a Neuroscience Track, the Integrative Neuroscience program, and programs in Pharmacology and Neurobiology & Behavior. EpiCenter Faculty are members of one or more of these programs. UCI also has an MD/PhD (MSTP) program.

Postdoctoral Students

Candidates may approach their lab of choice directly. The UCI Epilepsy Research effort is supported also by an NIH funded, Epilepsy-Focused Training /Research grant (Baram, PI).  Two to four positions will be available starting July 1, 2004. Qualified candidates with research interest in topics and/or methods germane to epilepsy may submit a CV to the faculty member of the EpiCenter with whom they wish to work directly, or  to Dr. Baram.
