October 7, 1999: Statewide Nursing Summit; over 1000 RNs, APNs, LVNs, students, staff nurses, educators, managers and administrators attended the Summit in Sacramento!! The conference, sponsored by the Board of Registered Nursing, Board of Vocational and Psychiatric Technicians, and California Strategic Planning Committee for Nursing, featured the following program:

NOVEMBER 4, Teleconference, 8:45 a.m- 1 p.m.. Sponsor: California Strategic Planning Committee for Nursing (CSPCN). This satellite-based or video compression conference used 20 sites of the CSU satellite system. Following the didactic sessions, persons at the CSU sites took part in a facilitated discussion. Over 300 students, nurses, administrators, and faculty registered.
