Fellowship Application Process
Eligibility
- Completion of residency training in internal medicine or family medicine.
- Must be board-certified or board-eligible in internal medicine or family medicine.
- California board licensure prior to interview consideration.
- Citizenship, residency or visa must be fulfilled prior to starting the fellowship.
Application
- The UC Irvine Program in Geriatrics is utilizing the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) Program, sponsored by the Association of American Medical Colleges, for Fellowship positions available for the 2008/2009 academic year.
- The deadline for submission is October 19, 2007.
- Please go to the following ERAS Website to submit your Application: http://www.aamc.org/eras.

- Your ERAS® application should include the followings:
- A completed ERAS Application
- A current curriculum vitae
- A one-page personal statement
- Three letters of recommendation (including one from your past or current program director)
- Interviews will be arranged by invitation only following review of the completed applications. We are no longer accepting paper applications.
