Fellowship Application Process

Eligibility

• Completion of residency training in internal medicine or family medicine.
• Must be board-certified or board-eligible in internal medicine or family medicine.
• California board licensure prior to interview consideration.
• Citizenship, residency or visa must be fulfilled prior to starting the fellowship.

Application

• The UC Irvine Program in Geriatrics is utilizing the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) Program, sponsored by the Association of American Medical Colleges, for Fellowship positions available for the 2008/2009 academic year.
• The deadline for submission is October 19, 2007.
• Please go to the following ERAS Website to submit your Application: http://www.aamc.org/eras.
• For questions regarding the application process via ERAS, please visit website at https://www.erasfellowshipdocuments.org/, or call ERAS at (215) 966-3940.
• Your ERAS® application should include the followings:
• A completed ERAS Application
• A current curriculum vitae
• A one-page personal statement
• Three letters of recommendation (including one from your past or current program director)
• Interviews will be arranged by invitation only following review of the completed applications. We are no longer accepting paper applications.
