Directions for Orientation and Location

The Veterans Administration Hospital, Long Beach Geriatrics Division and the UCI Program in Geriatrics look forward to your participation in the new and improved Geriatrics Rotation.

This experience was developed especially for Medicine Residents to enhance residents’ knowledge about the special treatment needs of your older adult patients.

• You will start your rotation by participating in the Geriatric Evaluation Management (GEM) program at the Long Beach VA with Mark Levinstein, M.D.
• Dr. Levinstein will look forward to seeing you at 9:00 a.m. in Bldg 126, OP-132.

• Your actual Orientation is scheduled with Sansan Wong, M.D. at the Long Beach VA MC, on Wednesday afternoon the first day of your rotation.
• Please ask Dr. Levinstein for the location of building 128 while you are in the clinic with him.
• Dr. Wong will go over your schedule, and you will view two introductory videotapes. This process takes about two hours.
