Single Cell PCR Apparatus

Understanding the mechanisms that regulate cell specific gene expression is possibly the largest current endeavor of research in modern neurobiology. A group of faculty members from the Department of Anatomy & Neurobiology has developed quantitative RT-PCR techniques, reliable quantification of the amount of gene product in single, morphologically identified, cells.

For more information or to schedule time to use the Single Cell PCR Apparatus, e-mail: Dr. Martin Smith
