Integrin Adhesion Receptors

Integrin adhesion receptors are differentially distributed in adult brain. In situ hybridization labeling of integrin alpha subunit mRNAs shows the complementary, cell specific expression of subunits 1, 7, and 8 in hippocampus (A-C) and of subunits 3 and 7 in cerebellum (D, E).
