 In Situ Hybridization Labeling of BDNF mRNA In situ hybridization labeling of BDNF mRNA (white) in a hippocampal explant maintained in culture for 2 weeks. Neuronal BDNF expression was dramatically elevated in this instance by treatment with an ampakine (i.e., a positive modulator of AMPA receptor function). |
