The Flow Cytometer

DNA cell cycle and cellular immunophenotype data can be collected and analyzed in detail on this FACStation from Becton Dickinson Immunocytometry Systems.

By passing single cells before a laser beam and collecting emitted flourescence data, information about the phenotype, ploidy and viability of cells can be analyzed. This flow cytometer workstation has the capability of simultaneously collecting data using three floursecence channels and analyzing the data with a computer workstation and ModFIT or CellQUEST software.

Assistance is available for help with experimental design, data collection and for training.
