| The Cell and Tissue Culture Facilities |
| Studies of biological processes are sometimes difficult to undertake because of the complexity of mutually interacting systems. Tissue culture allows greater control over the biochemical milieu of the tissues and also allows much more ready access to the tissue. Several laboratories in this department are using cell and tissue culture approaches to understand development and function of the nervous system. |
